Recipe Overview
A refreshing, no-added-sugar frozen treat made with Greek yoghurt, maple syrup, and PurQ Plum Nectar. Perfect for warmer days.
Ingredients
- 2 cups plain thick Greek yoghurt
- ½ cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste
- 1 cup frozen plums, cored and sliced
- 100 ml PurQ Plum Nectar (available from 2026)
Method
- In a bowl, whisk together yoghurt, maple syrup, and vanilla.
- In a blender, combine 3 tbsp of the yoghurt mixture, frozen plums, and PurQ Plum Nectar. Blend until smooth.
- Layer alternate spoonfuls of the yoghurt and plum mixtures into 6 popsicle moulds, tapping gently on the bench to remove air bubbles.
- Insert popsicle sticks and freeze for 4–5 hours, or until firm.
- Remove from moulds and enjoy.
Why it works
The creaminess of yoghurt balances the rich fruit flavour of PurQ Plum Nectar, while maple syrup adds natural sweetness. A simple, refreshing recipe the whole family can enjoy.
Tip
For variety, swap Greek yoghurt for coconut yoghurt to make a dairy-free version.
